The Children's Ministry at FBC Kosciusko is designed to teach children about the gospel of Christ. Engaging activities are planned for children of all ages with the intention of leading them to accept and follow the Lord's plan for their lives.
Wednesday Evenings during the school year children participate in Music & Missions from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For three year olds we have a choir called Preschool Praisers. The Music Makers choir is for 4 and 5 year olds; Music Makers consist of 1st through 3rd graders and Young musicians is for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Children praise the Lord during choir before going to Missions at 6:30. Missions is study of missionaries throughout the world and it teaches the children about how they can reach out to others through Christian service and let others know about God’s unfailing love.
Our mission’s program includes Mission Friends for preschoolers, GA’s for a girls and RA’s for boys first through fifth grade. Sixth graders participate in Gap in the Fall. This program is designed for preteens who will be going to the youth group each year in January.
Next Steps is our Sunday evening program. This begins at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary and conclude at 7:00. After opening celebration in the sanctuary with the entire congregation the children are dismissed to their classes.
Bible lessons are taught and adapted to relationships, prayer and play.
